Dunlop worked closely with Harley-Davidson engineers to develop the D407 rear tyre to be the Original Equipment (OE) tyre for selected bikes including the Street Glide and Softail® motorcycles. By mixing compounds, the same tyre can display different performance properties at maximum leaning angles than when upright during straight line speed.
